Synopsis

With the belief that Kyle Richmond is truly dead, the Defenders attend a ceremony where Doctor Strange lights an eternal flame in his honor. Over-Mind is unable to move on with his life without putting the pasts of the various telepaths who share his combined psyche behind him. Doctor Strange and Gargoyle accompany him on his quest as Valkyrie and Hellcat go on a quest of their own. After visiting the different past lives, Over-Mind decides to let go of the past, but he cannot do this without friends. Joined by Valkyrie and Hellcat, Doctor Strange and Gargoyle welcome Over-Mind into the Defenders.
