In northern France, Corben, Heatwave, and Timmie investigate Chip and Cyblade’s disappearance while, centuries in the past, the two deduce they have time traveled to the 15th century during the Hundred Years War. Cyblade joins the battle as Chip and the adult Timmie watch an older version of Chip get fatally impaled with a sword. Cyblade decapitates an English soldier, and the French forces proclaim her a hero, believing her to be Joan of Arc. In the present in Colorado, Mekadom attack Impact and shoot one of his friends. Enraged, he tears the Mekadom apart. At the Subplex, Velocity mopes because Cyberdata acquired the Izon object from the U.S. naval base before she could. At Cyberdata, after multiple hackers fail, Emil Zadrok agrees to let Killjoy join him in personally hacking Izon’s program.
