2 AGAINST THE HOUSE Ted Grant enters his hotel room after his boxing match at the Klondike Hotel and Casino. Ted finds a fruit basket from the boxing promoter Jimmy "Diamond" Rio. Ted washes his hands and applies iodine to his bruised knuckles. Ted eats an apple and starts watching a movie about a washed up boxer. Ted begins to remember how someone tried to frame him for the murder of his pal "Socker" Smith. Ted caught those responsible but the game of boxing had changed into something that Ted refused to go along with. On the other side of the Klondike, Selina wraps a towel around her after taking a shower. She considers her next big score in Vegas before tuning into a mafia themed movie. Selina decides to go down to the casino to mingle. She finds Ted Grant drinking by himself. Selina introduces herself to Ted and examines his championship ring. Selina brings up the fact that Ted is one of the few remaining "clean" champs left. Ted is hoping that Jorge "Gila Monster" Hernandez will be another "clean" champ when he wins the unified heavyweight boxing championship belt from "Tombstone" Taylor. Selina expresses her sympathy for Hernandez because Taylor is a devastating counter puncher with the meanest left hook in 20 years. Ted informs Selina that he has an extra seat ringside and asks if she would join him. Selina politely declines because she has "other plans". Wildcat was about to call his buddy Buck Wargo until he saw a few well known mob enforcers. Dominic and Vincent Drgana were the "Terror Twins" who worked for the Victor Moretti mob. Louis "The Weed" Campagna's reputation as a "lock pick" who could weed through anything. The psychotic Fiore "Fi-Fi" Buccieri was a prissy syndicate assassin who had a passion for torture. Angelo "The Buffalo" Bufalino's brutality as an enforcer is known nationwide to all mob families. Ted figures that they are going to rob the Klondike's cash office because the casino intends to collect a lot of money for the boxing match between Tombstone Taylor and Jorge Ramirez. At the Lucky 7 Hauling and Storage Company, Giacomo "Jocko" Volpe goes over his plan to rob the Klondike with his men. Jocko expresses the importance of how the job should be carried out in order to avoid any screw ups or any trace that he was responsible. Jocko's younger brother Claudio the Clawhammer assures Jocko that the plan will go by the numbers and everything will go smoothly. Jocko hands Claudio a manilla envelope with a few last minute details. In the envelope was a blueprint layout of the casino and a picture of Catwoman. Jocko tells Claudio that Selina is going to be set up as the patsy for the heist. Later that night, Catwoman enters the casino from a window sill on the roof and heads down a latter. She finds a door that leads to the casino's security surveillance. Selina picks the lock with her cat claws and attaches an electronic disruption module which trip up the Billings-Fulsom C-16 security system. Selina reaches the door to the cash office but realizes it's a tech-steel door that is about four inches thick with a high-pro time lock. Selina secretly enters the cash office by entering the ventilation system. Wildcat heads to the roof of the Klondike and runs into a few heavily armed thugs. Wildcat slugs out with the thugs until Ted throws one of the thugs into a few braces that were holding up a neon sign. The neon sign comes crashing down on the thugs but Wildcat managed to dodge it. Catwoman hears the scuffle on the rooftop and goes to check it out. Selina surprises Ted by using her cat whip.
