Synopsis

FINAL JEOPARDY PART 3 Catwoman and Batman are falling down towards the ground after Catwoman pulled them off a building. He asks, "Selina... what has gotten into you?" He fires his grappling gun and says, "Frankly, I expected a little more common sense."   Selina grabs hold of his waist as he swings them to safety, and she says, "You know me, Bruce... I'm full of surprises. And here's another one!" She unlatches his utility belt and lets go of his waist.  Batman finds Catwoman waiting by the Batmobile with his belt around her like a bandolier. He knows something is wrong, and he begs her to please talk to him. She drops a gas pellet and tells him it's not going to be that easy. If he wants her, he's going to have to catch her.   Catwoman runs across the rooftops while Batman chases her in the Batmobile, figuring she'll run out of roofs before he runs out of roads. Normally he'd be right, but he doesn't know the East End like she does.   He has to get out of the car. He chases her through an apartment building, and she bursts into one apartment, interrupting two residents while they play video games. She tells them that the guy behind her will reimburse them for damages, and she knows he will--in a week or so, they'll get a check from some tiny unknown subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises.   Catwoman climbs out the bathroom window and looks behind her to see that Batman is frowning. He isn't Bruce anymore, so she needs to run.   She makes it to the water's edge before Batman catches her. There's nowhere else to go. She is reviewing her options when Batman calms down and says, "Selina... This chase, all these thefts... I don't know why you're doing what you're doing."   He missteps when he says he can't allow her to continue. She kicks him in the chin. He's probably wondering why she's fighting him all of the sudden, and so is she. Maybe she just hates people telling her what to do.   She puts on a gas mask and throws every capsule in his belt at him--smoke, tear gas, deoxygenating compounds, regurgitant's--but he reaches his hand out through the gas and wraps his hand around her wrist. The gas didn't faze him. He's been taking antidotes for years.   Catwoman kisses him. When they pull away, he asks her what's going on. She doesn't know. She likes the rush. But if she'd still had Helena, she wouldn't miss it.   Batman asks if she's sure about that. She could have slipped away with Helena if she wanted to keep her, but she didn't want to.   Catwoman attacks him, asking "You think you know about my life? You think you know about my baby? You're over the line!"   She falls back when she realizes he's right. She could have done something. She could have gone somewhere. Under the costume and the claws and the mask and the goggles, she's Catwoman. This is who she is.   She uses the recording she made of his voice-activation code to unlock the Batmobile, and she steals it, driving away and leaving Batman stranded.
