Synopsis

The Gift Archie agrees to loan Betty a book so she won't have to buy the text for a class and thus has enough money to buy earrings for Veronica. But Veronica spots them, assumes the worst of Betty and plans a prank to publicly humiliate her in revenge. Tall Story A girl on the seventh grade girl's basketball Betty coaches is having trouble coping with being taller than the boys in her grade. Betty counsels the girl with stories of her own time in sixth grade, when she was taller than everyone except Moose. Robestyles of the Rich and Famous When Archie visits first Betty and then Veronica, he catches each girl in her robe. The contrast between the two is revealing. Candid Comments Betty has to interview Coach Kleats for the school paper after a 63-0 loss. Study Buddy Betty tries to study for school, but no matter which subject she tries, her thoughts always drift back to Archie.
