CAGE ME OR KILL ME! While Commissioner Gordon visits his daughter, Barbara in Washington, D.C., they have to work together to try to keep crime-syndicate assassin Diamond Lilly from killing former crook Tad Wolfe before he can receive a new face and identity. Batgirl distracts Lilly and manages to stop her gang while Commissioner Gordon takes Wolfe to the FBI offices to start the procedure. ROBIN'S WHITE (VERY) CHRISTMAS! On Christmas Eve, Dick Grayson is unable to leave New Carthage to spend time with Bruce in Gotham City and all because of the weather conditions. With no other choice, Dick stays with his girlfriend Lori Elton and they help the Hudson University community to collect charity money. When a gang of crooks posing as Santa Claus attempt to steal the money, Dick changes into Robin and takes the criminals out of action. Once the crime is solved, Dick goes to his dorm at the University to call Bruce and inform him of his inability to leave, but he is surprised by an unexpected visit from Bruce, Alfred and Aunt Harriet, who learned of the weather troubles and decided to join Dick in New Carthage. Like this, Dick Grayson and his family spend Christmas with Lori and her family. BATMAN MEETS FATMAN This story is reprinted from Batman #113. Batman and Robin meet Fatman, a circus clown who dresses in a mock Batman costume. Impressed by Fatman's antics, they offer him a ride in the Batmobile. As they drive around Gotham, news of a crime in progress reaches the Dynamic Duo and they get ready to capture the criminals. Unfortunately they are outmatched and they need Fatman's aid to stop the group of criminals known as the Red Mask Gang. Fatman starts clowning around the thugs, pretending to be clumsy until he finds the perfect time to free the heroes. Afterwards, Fatman is considered a hero among the circus crowds and his dream has finally come true. THE SECRET WAR OF THE PHANTOM GENERAL This story is reprinted from Detective Comics #343. When Nazi war criminal General Von Dort steals M-244 using military techniques in Gotham City, in order to build a death ray, but he attracts the attention of Batman and Robin, who travel to South America to stop him. Teaming up with the Elongated Man, the three heroes have to overcome the power of Von Dort's hypnotic monocle in order to save the world from his tyranny. Elongated Man and Robin are overcome by the hypnotic power of the monocle, but Batman finds a way to resist the spell and defeats the criminal, bringing him to the American authorities and recovering the dealy weapon he was building.
