DUTY. TRUST. PARTNERSHIP. Gotham is terrorized by a man dressed in diving gear and wielding a harpoon gun, who asks the people "Can you swim?" and shoots them with a harpoon regardless of their answer as he travels through Gotham in a limousine. Renee Montoya is assigned a misogynistic partner but still solves the case. FRIENDS, LIES AND AUDIOTAPE Hardback Bock is assigned a case involving his former partner Demetrius Williams, now a security guard, who claims he shot and killed a teenager in a parking garage because he was a carjacker whose friend had a gun. Bock proves that Williams was lying and that the boy and his friend had in fact stumbled across evidence of Williams's carjacking ring. Williams shot the boy to silence them, but his friend caught the incriminating conversation on tape. PARTNERS Harvey Bullock is forced to work with Shotgun Smith when a series of crimes in both Gotham and Gotham Heights target Bengallia right before the country's president arrives for a state visit. The culprit is revealed to be Sweet, a refugee from Bengallia who settled in Gotham Heights. He hoped to bargain for his brother's freedom with the jewel he stole.
