FAMILY REUNION PART 2 - WHILE THE CAT'S AWAY The reign of Black Mask over Gotham City's underworld is still strong enough, but the situation has started to change. Batman is traveling on the Batplane and at that same moment, Onyx comes face-to-face with Gotham's newest criminal, Red Hood. Onyx was spying on a meeting of drug dealers and Red Hood joins her with no intentions of hurting her. Red Hood starts explaining to her who are all the people on the meeting and what business they are involved with, but Onyx doesn't trust him. A robbery takes place on a building and three thugs start destroying the office to eliminate all evidence. Batman appears and starts taking them out one by one. He disarms the first guy and knocks him out and then he drags the second one with his Batrope and puts him down with an elbow to his face. The last thug standing aims his weapon to Batman and before he could even finish his sentence he is taken down by Superman. Batman doesn't like being saved by Superman and the man of steel wonders what is Batman doing in Metropolis. He tries to convince Bruce to hang out in the night, but Batman has reached the place to talk to him about a very serious matter. After Red Hood finishes his explanation of the members of the meeting to Onyx, he offers her to join him while he takes the criminals down. Red Hood throws a smoke grenade on top of the criminals and leaps to start his attack. Onyx joins him and together they know out all the members of the meeting. However, they are soon surrounded by the bodyguards of the unconscious thugs and they are clearly outnumbered and outgunned. Batman wants to know all the details about the time when Superman was dead and how he came back to life, but there isn't much more to say that he doesn't know already. However, Batman seems to be really troubled about something, but even he can't tell what is it all about. Onyx and Red Hood make their way across the warehouse by using their excellent acrobatic skills and soon they reach the door leading to the exit as the enemies keep shooting at them. Onyx knows that they have no option but to escape the place, but Red Hood disagrees. He opens a crate on the outside and picks up a gatling machine gun, which he uses to kill all of the thugs in one strike. Onyx is horrified at the sight of several men dying in front of her and decides that she must not let Red Hood escape after what he did. Red Hood aims the gun at her and explains that he wasn't there to attack the thugs and "give them a lesson", but instead, killing them was his idea all along. Red Hood approaches Onyx and speaks really close to her, telling that the vigilante's method is not the answer to stop crime in Gotham. Onyx replies defiantly, but Red Hood feels very confident about himself. He explains that she can't do much against him because he stabbed her in the shoulder while he was talking to her. Onyx didn't even noticed until he pointed it out and Red Hood aims the gun at her again.
