THE ROUND-TRIP LOOKING GLASS! Captain Boomerang and Mirror Master both hit Gotham City at the same time, end up competing with each other, and both run afoul of the Batman. On their first criminal attempt at the Gotham Museum, the crime is prevented by Batman, but the villains escape, each going in their own direction. Prowling the streets, Mirror Master uses a special mirror to mind control members of the False Face Society and commands them to eliminate Captain Boomerang. Batman and Robin go out to stop the villains and they come across Harvey Bullock, who is also on the trail of the crooks. They decide to split and Batman goes looking for Boomerang while Bullock and Robin go for Mirror Master. Batman finds Boomerang being attacked by the False Facers and he saves the villain, giving him time to escape. With this advantage Boomerang finds Mirror Master's headquarters and steals his hypnotizing mirror. Meanwhile, Bullock and Robin confront Mirror Master and manage to capture him, but the villain finds a way to escape their grasp. Back in his headquarters, Mirror Master is attacked by a trick boomerang made of his hypnotizing mirror and he becomes mind controlled by Captain Boomerang.
