BATGIRL RISING: CORE REQUIREMENTS PART 1 Stephanie goes to help deal with a fire at an apartment complex, only to be interrupted and shoved aside by Batman and Robin. Damian makes the fire worse when the two of them refuse to listen to Stephanie about the arsonist's odd qualities and he ends up partially frozen, but ultimately unharmed when she freezes the diesel fuel that's feeding the fire. Back at the Batcave, Barbara quickly becomes furious with Dick when he hypocritically yells at her for letting someone as "reckless" as Stephanie out in the field while he's gone out of his way to make the far more reckless and volatile Damian his Robin. At school, Stephanie overhears a conversation between Jordanna and Francisco that alerts her to a possible motivation for the arson; Francisco's father owned the building. Barbara's dating life remains stagnant when her father tries to set her up with Detective Gage and she takes out her frustration with Dick on him.
