Synopsis

SEEDS OF BLOOD Batgirl and Batman arrive in Tarakstan undercover as Bruce Wayne and Cassandra Cain. They pretend that Bruce is considering bringing WayneTech to Tarakstan. Their real goal is to track down Doctor Death. They are greeted by evil oil tycoon Vitor Namali, who takes them to meet President Ruslam. Batgirl is horrified by the poverty and human rights abuses all around her. Dr. Jira Vidorja is assigned as their translator, and Lt. Torva is assigned as their bodyguard. Batgirl believes that Jira is working with the Sakuri Lions, the terrorist group trying to kill Namali. Bruce tells her they are not there to get involved with local politics. Ruslan assures Bruce that the government is doing everything they can to deal with the Sakuri.  Jira Vidorja is told to show them around the countryside. She deliberately takes them through a path that will show them the government's numerous human rights abuses. They cross paths with the Sakuri Lions, who take down their military escort and kidnap Bruce. Batgirl avoids capture, and stops the Sakuri from executing these soldiers. Batgirl finds Bruce prisoner in a cave, takes down his guards, and gives him his Batsuit. Batman and Batgirl confront Vidorja and the Sakuri Lions' leader Black Wind. Black Wind fights Batgirl and Batman to a stand-still with his metahuman powers. Batman demands to know where Doctor Death is, but Black Wind insists he does not know. Vidorja reveals that she does know where Doctor Death is.
