Batgirl #21
Synopsis
Spoiler brings Batgirl to Oracle, who warns them about the Jokerized supervillains who have been released onto the streets. Much to Oracle's surprise, Batgirl agrees to stay in the Clock Tower. She trains on her own until the power goes out and the three women are confronted by Shadow Thief. Batgirl tricks him into following her onto the roof where she studies his body language to learn secret Koga-Ryu techniques. Oracle, meanwhile, shuts off her system so he can no longer use it to power his Thanagarian technology. Spoiler joins Batgirl on the roof where she has nearly killed Shadow Thief. At Batgirl's tearful request, Spoiler administers CPR and saves his life. Spoiler reassures her, and Batgirl leaves, thinking about her coming duel to the death with Lady Shiva.
