While in Washington, DC, the Black Knight stops a robbery with the aid of his mighty sword, trusty steed and uncle's lance. He is then promptedly arrested because he fits the description of a sword-wielding maniac they are currently looking for. He is put in a line-up but after the witness cannot identify him and they find no blood on his sword he is released. At his castle, he meets with Mrs. Blackwood who is concerned that her husband has had a mental breakdown and is probably the man the police are looking for. Her husband is the masked vigilante named the Crusader. He attacks Washington, DC's airpot to kill the Emir of Ghulistan (whom he calls a saracen). Crusader fails in his attempt to assassinate the Emir because of Black Knight and his own daughter's interference.
