Synopsis

THE CRIMSON COMENTS OF FALLVILLE HIGH A man at Barry Allen's class reunion learns from a psychic classmate that one of the attendees is really the Flash, and he intends to put the knowledge to his best use. MURDER HAUNTS THE MIDWAY Deadman returns for an unseen visit to Hills Circus. He unites with his brother's body for a trapeze performance, and during his possession a gunman, from the crowd, shoots Cleveland Brand in the back.  THE CALL OF THE COSMOS Hal Jordan saves an alien who then stars leaching off him. CLIMAX OF CHAOS Orion frees the six humans, forces Desaad to tell what else he knows of Darkseid's plans, while the other New Gods fight the Antagonist on Earth. Orion then goes to face Darkseid, and is offered alliance with his father, but refuses. Darkseid blasts him, and then flies away. THE CASE OF THE FORTUNE COOKIE FORTUNE While visiting a small town, Elongated Man and his wife are invited to eat at a local Chinese Restaurant. While dinning, they discover that the fortune cookies have $1,000 bills tucked inside them, and Ralph's nose goes a-twitching as he wonders who is paying for this publicity stunt. THE SHARK'S DARK DEMAND On her way to Paradise Island in the Robot Plane, Wonder Woman encounters the Shark, who has reevolved from his shark-state and now wishes to defeat her and make her his mate. Wonder Woman manages to defeat him and compels him with her magic lasso to return to his shark-state and never again seek to evolve past it.
