Venom (Gargan)

Creation & Design

Mac Gargan was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko as the Scorpion, a villain for Spider-Man. He was later transformed into Venom when he bonded with the alien symbiote.

Early Years

Initially introduced as the Scorpion, Gargan was a private investigator who was transformed into a supervillain. His rivalry with Spider-Man defined his early years.

Character Development

Over the years, Mac Gargan has evolved from a simple villain to a complex character with a rich history, grappling with his identity as both Scorpion and Venom.

Cultural Reception

Venom (Gargan) has been received with mixed reviews, often seen as a darker counterpart to the original Venom, Eddie Brock.
