Any difference in Nick Fury's appearance or demeanor are not apparent in this issue similar to the Ultimate Fantastic Four's appearance in Ultimate Marvel Team-Up #9

Marvel seems to have committed to the depiction of Nick Fury as a younger, black, James Bond type operative in Ultimate X-Men #9

It wasn't until Ultimates #2 when Fury was unmistakably imagined as Samuel L. Jackson, published 6 years prior to Jackson's MCU debut in Iron Man (2008)
