Tim Drake was created by Marv Wolfman and Pat Broderick, first appearing as Robin in Batman #436. He was designed to be a more intelligent and tech-savvy counterpart to previous Robins.

Early Years

Tim Drake was introduced as a young boy who deduced Batman and Robin's identities. After the death of Jason Todd, he took on the mantle of Robin and later became Red Robin after the events of 'Batman R.I.P.'
