Professor X

Creation & Design

Professor X was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, debuting in X-Men #1 in 1963. He was designed as the founder of the X-Men and a mentor to young mutants.

Early Years

In his early years, Professor X established the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters to train mutants to control their powers and promote peaceful coexistence between humans and mutants.
