Ironheart was created by Brian Michael Bendis and designed by artist Mike Deodato. She was introduced as a young genius who builds her own suit of armor similar to Iron Man's.

Early Years

Riri Williams was a prodigy who attended MIT at a young age. After a tragic event involving her best friend, she was inspired to create her own version of the Iron Man suit.

Over the years, Riri has evolved from a young genius into a confident superhero, learning to balance her personal life with her responsibilities as Ironheart.
