Huntress

Creation & Design

Huntress was created by writer Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby, first appearing in 1947. The character was reimagined in the 1980s as Helena Bertinelli, a vigilante with a darker backstory.

Early Years

Helena Bertinelli was introduced as a mobster's daughter who took on the mantle of Huntress to seek vengeance for her family's murder. She became a prominent figure in Gotham's vigilante scene.

Character Development

Over the years, Huntress has evolved from a vengeful anti-hero to a more nuanced character, often grappling with her moral code and the implications of her actions as a vigilante.
