Creation & Design

Falcon was created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Gene Colan, first appearing in 'Captain America #117' in 1969. He was one of the first African American superheroes in mainstream comics.

Early Years

Initially introduced as a partner to Captain America, Falcon quickly became a prominent character in the Marvel Universe, often addressing social issues and representing a new era of superheroes.
