Creation & Design

Cloud Strife was created by Tetsuya Nomura and first appeared in the video game Final Fantasy VII, released in 1997. His design was influenced by the aesthetics of the late 90s and the themes of identity and heroism.

Early Years

Cloud was originally a member of Shinra's SOLDIER program but later became a mercenary. His journey begins when he joins the eco-terrorist group Avalanche to fight against the Shinra Electric Power Company.

Throughout his journey, Cloud evolves from a confused and conflicted individual into a true hero who understands the importance of friendship, sacrifice, and the fight for the planet's future.
